She's 7 now. I've not wanted to shove her out because it's been such an issue with her and I don't want to jeopardize her attachment to us and her security in this world. But we recently started her sleeping in her own bed. Granted we read some books first, cuddle and then I hold her hand and "send" her to sleep. So she still gets to have me hold her while she drifts off, but my husband and I get our bed back. She's on a reward chart too for this. Every Friday is a reward if she sleeps 7 days in her bed.
